Experience It All – Past, Present, and Future

As soon as you step into the Textile Fashion Center, you’ll feel the wow factor. In our carefully renovated former textile factory, you’ll find a variety of displays on the first floor showcasing what’s happening in the centre – from student works in textile and fashion design to photo exhibitions, course presentations, and highlights from the businesses and organisations in the centre or Borås.

On the first floor, you’ll also find the Textile Museum’s shop, offering literature and products related to textiles, fashion, and design. A unique feature is the section with second-hand clothes and accessories from well-known suppliers in Borås. Tickets to the Textile Museum are available at the reception (free admission for students or those under 26 years of age). The museum features both permanent and temporary, exciting, and creative exhibitions across floors one and two. The common thread is the textile fiber, so you’ll find everything from art to fashion, textile design, textile innovation, and research, as well as the textile cultural heritage, including both artisanal and industrial production.
